The Heart and History of Kevin’s Travel Agency In 2002, I took a leap of faith and founded Kevin’s Travel Agency, balancing the nervous excitement of my very first bookings with the beautiful chaos of raising my young family. In those early days, my office was a blend of professional ambition and motherhood. I used to spread a large blanket on the carpet right beside my desk, filling it with toys and coloring books to keep my baby and toddlers safe and happy while I built my dream from the ground up. My days were a non-stop rhythm of family and business. I became an expert at multitasking —answering client calls from my parked car in the school pickup line, and ensuring that my focus never wavered. I made a fierce promise to myself that I would never, ever take my eyes off my children or my business. I gave 100% to both, refusing to compromise on either. More than two decades later, my children have grown and the agency has expanded tremendously, requiring rows of large filing cabinets to keep up with our incredible travelers. Yet, tucked proudly among them sits my original, small filing cabinet from 2002 to 2004. It remains the anchor of my office—a profound daily reminder of our humble beginnings, the early clients who trusted me, and the grit it took to build this legacy.
